Our Core Series of sticks is very much the engine room of the TK collection. Featuring a range of composite specifications, two bow profiles and the Fat Shaft shape, the Core Series offers a wide range of performance options to cover the needs of players from grass roots to the International level of the game.
Core Series sticks marked GT feature our 25mm Regular Bow. Very much regarded as the conventional shape of modern hockey, the placement of the optimum point of the bow towards the mid section of the shaft creates a shape that offers equal assistance to every skill in the game. The definitive all rounder, this is a shape familiar to all players.
Core Series sticks marked LT feature our 25mm Late Bow, placing the optimum point of the bow further down the shaft towards the head of the stick. This shape offers greater assistance to skills such as drag flicking, by increasing the slingshot momentum the player can generate. The Late Bow shape can also improve dribbling as the hands become more centred over the stick head as well as other skills involving lifting the ball.
Core Series sticks marked FTI feature our Fat Shaft profile and a 20mm regular bow. The increased shaft thickness is designed to improve output, in particular the potential ball striking capabilities of the stick. While the placement of the optimum point of the bow assists the full skill set, the reduction in bow size further enhances striking the ball.
