Gryphon Chubby Grip

Description

Gryphon Chubby Grip

A thick, cushioned field hockey replacement grip designed for players who prefer a larger handle diameter and increased vibration dampening. The Gryphon Chubby Grip combines a smooth 1.75mm outer grip with a 2mm EVA foam backing to create a substantial 3.75mm total thickness. This additional cushioning provides a softer feel in the hands while helping reduce vibration transferred through the stick during ball contact.

Thicker Handle with Added Cushioning: At 3.75mm thick, the Chubby Grip is considerably thicker than a standard replacement grip, making it ideal for players who want to increase the diameter of their hockey stick handle. The EVA foam backing provides additional cushioning and helps dampen vibration, while the smooth outer surface delivers a comfortable and consistent grip.

Key Features:

  • Extra-Thick Design: 3.75mm total thickness creates a noticeably larger and more cushioned hockey stick handle.
  • 2mm EVA Foam Backing: Additional foam layer provides increased cushioning underneath the outer grip.
  • Vibration Dampening: EVA foam helps reduce vibration transferred through the stick during ball contact and tackling.
  • Smooth Surface: Comfortable outer finish provides a consistent feel in the hands.
  • Larger Handle Profile: Ideal for players who prefer a thicker grip or want to increase the diameter of a standard stick handle.
  • Comfortable Feel: Extra cushioning can help reduce the harsh feel associated with repeated stick and ball contact.
  • Generous Length: 1700mm length provides plenty of material for wrapping a field hockey stick handle.
  • Two Colour Options: Available in Black or White.
