Gryphon Foot Guards
Lightweight metatarsal foot guards designed to provide additional protection during penalty corner defence and high-intensity field hockey. The Gryphon Foot Guards sit over the top of your hockey shoes to help protect the vulnerable metatarsal area from ball and stick impacts. Combining a rigid TPU outer shell with cushioning EVA foam, they provide additional impact protection while maintaining a lightweight, low-profile design.
Designed for Penalty Corner Defence: Penalty corner runners and defenders can be particularly exposed to hard ball impacts around the feet. The Gryphon Foot Guards use a pre-shaped protective shell to cover the upper foot, with an internal EVA foam layer helping to cushion and distribute impact. Their lightweight construction is designed to minimise interference with normal running and movement around the pitch.
