The third model in the Elite range, the 95% carbon lay up is placed across a fibreglass micro-skeleton giving more touch and feel than the CK95. The Xtreme bend features several of the popular concepts seen in our other bends as well as a tapered toe, a flattened backhand edge and a white face for drag flicking deception. Vibrations are controlled using M-Gel and Piezo-Electric Fibres that convert vibrations into heat for efficient dampening. The High-Friction Finish, the final layer of laquer on the face enhancing touch and control. Mixed with fine grains of silicon polymer to create a texture that stops the ball spinning on contact. These tiny rubber particles 'squash' on ball impact, providing a damping effect. A 95% carbon construction, coupled with Nano Polymer Resin, provides superior stiffness and energy transfer for powerful strikes. The Xtreme Bend is is perfect for drag flicking and executing advanced skills. 360 degree strength is provided by the Quad Carbon Sleeve as well as a softer feel and enhanced power. The Extreme Bend features offers Precision Handling with a thinned toe for easier ball elevation, while the flat backhand zone enhances shooting accuracy. A 4-degree face twist and concave shaft promote superior ball handling and control which facilitates improved hand speed. Optimized for elite-level execution, this stick excels in drag flicks, slaps, and 3D dribbling, making it perfect for defenders, midfielders, and forwards alike.
XTREME BEND:
The Mercian Extreme bend features several of the popular concepts seen in our other bends in addition to some new elements. The toe of the stick has been thinned down both on the face and the back of the head to aid getting the ball into the air for 3D skill execution. The backhand zone has been flattened to aid passing and shooting accuracy. The actual bend of the stick (face) is the same as the Ultimate - 24.5mm at a maximum bend point of 200mm from the head. The extreme bend also has a 2mm concave shaft, with the concave situated above, not including, the stick face, so enhancing flicking and 'sling-shot' slapping skills but without compromising the ball / face impact. A 4-degree face twist to aid ball handling, dribbling and control on the reverse side. A thinned handle so that with the EVA Under Grip on the CKF90 the grip dimensions feel 'normal'.
