Elite Composite Solid Core Technology
The CK95 Solid Core is the pinnacle of the Mercian range, built with 95% carbon over a Kevlar skeleton for explosive power and responsiveness. The stick is filled with an advanced Polymer core, giving enhanced strength and stiffness but also the ability to REDUCE overall weight. Its Ultimate V2 Bend enhances drag-flicking, aerials, and 3D skills. The Mercian CK95SC with Solid Core Technology optimises power, weight, and balance with a vacuum-filled polymeric core, enhancing rigidity and feel. Toray Carbon provides Ultra-Light composites with superior strength and rigidity, reducing weight while enhancing mechanical performance. The Tungsten Carbide Diffused Kevlar (TCDK) enhances strength and durability by diffusing tungsten carbide through Kevlar. Nano Polymer Resin adds durability and creates a flexible but stronger bond between composite layers, increasing stiffness and reducing the risk of de-lamination. The Elite CK95 contains High Quality Carbon. Preferred carbon from Japan, Germany, Scotland, and South Africa provides stiffness but can be brittle. Combining carbon with fibreglass and Kevlar enhances strength and durability. With a High Friction Finish, the final layer of lacquer on the face of the stick is mixed with fine grains of silicon polymer to create a texture that stops the ball spinning on contact. These tiny rubber particles 'squash' on ball impact, providing a damping effect. Using Triple-Layer Vibration Control, M-Gel, EVA Under-Grip and Piezo-electric fibres convert vibrations into heat for efficient dampening. SOLID CORE - Power, Precision, Balance: As part of Mercian's continued drive for technical excellence fuelled by our 'win before you play' philosophy, the Solid Core technology developed in the CK95SC creates the optimum combination of power, weight and balance. The polymeric core, created by vacuum filling the usually hollow stick core gives an internal rigidity simply not seen on any non-cored stick. It gives an exceptional level of power because of the removal of the hollow chamber and then an un-rivalled feel as every touch can be relayed because of the solidity of the sticks centre. This Solid Core is then precisely wrapped with the highest quality Textreme carbon and Tungsten Carbide Diffused Kevlar (TCDK). Laminate bonding is further enhanced with the use of uniquely blended resins, pressure fed through the composite layers, creating the crucial outer shell that surrounds the Solid Polymer Core.
ULTIMATE V2 BEND:
The Mercian Ultimate V2 Bend is new for 2025 - it features the same bend as the legacy Ultimate bend - is the most aggressive low bow that we have ever made, with the bend of the stick effectively cupping the ball. The maximum bend at this lowest legal point enhances drag ?icking and aerial skills with the balance point of the stick adjusted to also favour 3D dribbling skills - it also now has a thinner toe, this aids getting the toe of the stick under the ball on the reverse side to aid 3D skills. In addition to this it also has a sculpted head, shaping the rear surface of the head from a curve to a flat, angled plane removes some of the bulk and assists getting the head of the stick under the ball, opening the face and aiding overhead passes and generally lifting the ball.
