Advanced Composite Stick

The Evolution CKF75 is a 75% carbon lay-up model with the High Quality Toray Carbon placed across a fibreglass skeleton giving good touch and feel with the Tungsten Carbide Diffused Kevlar increasing durability, stiffness and laminate bonding by diffusing tungsten carbide through Kevlar. The concave face shape 'cups' and cushions the ball to help with close control, 3D skill execution and lifted passes but is obviously within the FIH 4mm deviation guidelines. High Friction Finish where the final layer of lacquer on the face of the stick is mixed with fine grains of silicon polymer to create a texture that stops the ball spinning on contact. These tiny rubber particles 'squash' on ball impact, providing a damping effect. Advanced Vibration Control is acheived by a dual process using M-Gel, a silicon gel injected into the handle of the stick which absorbs vibrations caused by power skills such as hitting and slapping, meaning that the player has much more feel. As well as Piezo Electric Fibres, that convert vibrations into heat for efficient dampening. Nano Polymer Resin creates a flexible but stronger bond between composite layers, increasing stiffness and reducing the risk of de-lamination.

DSH BEND:

The Mercian DSH bend is available on the legacy (Pre 2022) Evolution 0.4 and 0.7 models and on the CKF75 since the 2023 / 2024 range. The concave face shape 'cups' and cushions the ball to help with close control, 3D skill execution and lifted passes but is obviously within the FIH 4mm deviation guidelines. To create the concave face the head is 2mm thicker than the Ultimate bend and therefore also offers a head weighted bias which aids hitting and slapping power. The DSH is a Mid-Bow Bend: 23mm bend at 270mm from the head.
