Description
Osaka Pro Tour Penalty Corner Knee Protection
Hard-shell knee protection, 6mm impact-absorbing foam, and easy integration with field hockey shin guards. The Osaka Pro Tour Penalty Corner Knee Protection is designed specifically for field hockey players defending penalty corners. Supplied as a pair, the guards provide additional coverage over the vulnerable knee area for first runners, post defenders, and other players involved in penalty corner defence. The lightweight polypropylene hard shell is backed by 6mm cushioning foam to help absorb and disperse impact, while the design slides behind your existing shin guards to create more continuous lower-leg protection.
Dedicated Protection for Penalty Corner Defence: Defending a penalty corner can expose the knees to powerful shots and deflections. Osaka combines a durable PP outer shell with shock-absorbing foam and secure adjustable strapping, providing additional protection without creating excessive bulk or unnecessarily restricting movement when running from the goal.
Key Features:
-
Polypropylene Hard Shell: Tough PP outer cup provides a durable protective barrier over the kneecap against ball impacts.
-
6mm Impact-Absorbing Foam: Internal cushioning helps absorb and disperse impact energy while providing a comfortable layer between the hard shell and knee.
-
Shin Guard Integration: Designed to slide behind standard field hockey shin guards, helping reduce the exposed area between the top of the shin guard and the knee.
-
Penalty Corner Specific Design: Developed for players requiring additional knee protection when defending drag flicks, direct shots, and close-range deflections.
-
Breathable Mesh Panels: Ventilated sections encourage airflow around the leg to improve comfort during use.
-
Elastic Retention Straps: Flexible strapping helps hold the protection securely around the leg while allowing freedom of movement.
-
Adjustable Velcro Closure: Hook-and-loop adjustment allows the fit to be quickly tightened or loosened when preparing for a penalty corner.
-
Adult One-Size Fit: Adjustable construction is designed to accommodate a wide range of senior players.
-
Supplied as a Pair: Includes two knee guards for complete left and right knee protection.
