Description
Osaka Tekko Glove | Iconic Black
Fist-shaped backhand protection, lightweight construction, and an ergonomic fit designed around the natural hockey grip. The Osaka Tekko Glove | Iconic Black is a low-profile field hockey glove created for players who want essential hand protection without the bulk and restriction of a traditional heavily padded glove. Its distinctive protective backplate is shaped around the natural position of the hand when gripping a hockey stick, helping provide coverage across the back of the hand while maintaining excellent freedom of movement and stick feel.
Lightweight Protection with a Natural Stick Feel: For players who find conventional hockey gloves too bulky, the Tekko offers a more minimalist alternative. The pre-shaped backhand plate and internal foam cushioning help protect vulnerable areas from ball and stick contact, while the lightweight, ergonomic construction allows the hand and wrist to move naturally during dribbling, passing, receiving, and tackling.
Key Features:
-
Fist-Shaped Protective Backplate: Anatomically shaped around the natural position of the hand when holding a hockey stick for comfortable, targeted backhand coverage.
-
Impact-Absorbing Foam: Internal cushioning helps absorb and disperse forces from accidental ball impacts and stick contact.
-
Lightweight Construction: Minimalist design reduces unnecessary bulk and helps maintain natural hand and wrist movement.
-
Excellent Stick Feel: Low-profile construction allows greater tactile feedback from the stick compared with more heavily padded glove designs.
-
Ergonomic Fit: Pre-curved geometry follows the shape of the hand in its playing position, helping reduce bunching and restriction around the grip.
-
Freedom of Movement: Designed to preserve finger and wrist mobility for quick stick handling, receiving, passing, and technical skills.
-
Iconic Black Colourway: Clean black finish complements Osaka sticks, clothing, and protective equipment.
-
Ideal for Skill-Focused Players: A strong choice for players who prioritise mobility and stick control while still wanting additional backhand protection.
